Roblox teased its fans for a mystery event that is expected to be announced or happen on March 15.
The gaming studio only posted a picture featuring an air duct-like photo that gleams with a blue light. There are no clues yet aside from the date written on the end of the duct.
Stocks in Roblox, the virtual game world that has proven to be a lockdown winner with hundreds of millions of mostly young players, have surged by 60 percent.

Roblox Fans Hope for Egg Hunt Event
In 2008, Roblox introduced an Egg Hunt event which enabled players to collect rare and limited-time in-game items. However, the studio discontinued the event in 2020 despite its popularity within the community.

Some fans note that the glow resembled the shape of an egg. Regardless, there could be many possibilities for the event since Robolox already has a wide range of games. Despite that, many gamers are still hoping for the Egg Hunt event to come back any time soon.
Back then, Roblox developers used to create custom eggs for the event which usually drops during the Easter season or other festive occasions. The eggs allowed players to collect virtual items, accessories, and even in-game currency depending on the type of egg that they collected.
Roblox Maintains Popularity
Over the years, Roblox has managed to maintain its popularity by continuously updating the game based on gamer feedback and the interest of the community. Moreover, AI plays a big role in the current improvement of the game.
For instance, Roblox creators are allowed to use the AI chatbot to build worlds. In addition, players can also hold conversations regardless of their language using AI live translations.
Last year, Roblox experienced a decline in revenue and a drop in its daily users. Perhaps the return of the Egg Hunt event could help the company boost the game's activity once again. Regardless, the game is still popular among kids and teens.
